I am hoping to reconstruct my kitchen. But a friend told me I need to get rid of my kitchen table. Which is not possible. 1. because it is one of my most favorite pieces of furniture and 2. because I think I'm finally going to pull the trigger on these chairs.

Those chairs are DARLING. And totally versatile--what if you made cushions for them from old ticking stripe dishtowels and only pulled them out occasionally? (I'm trying to soften my diner chairs, and have cushions on the brain ...)
Chairs are perfect. Love their style aand no sticky, peanut-butter finger problems.
I'm glad you all are backing the chairs. I've been thinking about them for a long time. I also like the cushions idea I think they would soften them visually and physically.
